Privacy Policy
This policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy") details the policy of the company FASTLANE EDUCATION (hereinafter “Fastlane Education”) with regard to the protection of privacy on its Application, which is accessible via the Internet at the address www.startlab-education.com (hereinafter the “Application") and via the ENT.
The purpose of this Policy is to inform you about the methods of processing personal information that you communicate on the Application, about the use of cookies and about the rights that you have.
Fastlane Education reserves the right to change this Policy at any time, and will notify you of any material changes thereto by sending a notice to the primary email address listed on your account or by placing a prominent notice on the Application.

1. General information
Personal data on the Application is collected by Fastlane Education, which is the data controller.
By way of the Application, Fastlane Education may be led to collect and process personal data furnished by users, in particular when using the Application and when creating an account on the Application.
Fastlane Education is also the recipient, via the ENT, to the extent strictly necessary for students and teachers to access and use the Application in accordance with the rights granted to them, of data processed by the Ministry of National Education, collected within the framework of the "Resources Access Manager" (RAM). These data are as follows: division or group of membership, and profile of the person concerned.
2. Data subject and their rights
In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, as amended, and the European Data Protection Regulation 2016/679, you have the right to access, rectify, delete, limit and object on legitimate grounds to personal information concerning you. You also have a right to the portability of your data.
You may exercise these rights at any time by contacting Fastlane Education:

Pursuant to the above-mentioned texts, these requests must be accompanied by a photocopy of an identity document bearing your signature. A reply will then be sent to you within one (1) month of receipt of your request.
Fastlane Education undertakes to delete the photocopy once the request has been processed
3. Management by Fastlane Education of personal data
3.1 Personal data collected
We may collect your personal data in the following cases:
- you register for the Application;
- you use the Application.
3.1.1 Registration to the Application
When you register, we collect the following personal data:
- Family name;
- First name;
- Email;
- Work phone number;
- Password (a certain level of password security must be met).
- Name and address of the Establishment concerned;
- Educational sector of the Establishment concerned
3.1.2 Browsing the Application
When you use the Application, Fastlane Education's servers automatically recognise your computer's IP address (this is a number that identifies each computer connected to the Internet).
3.2 Purpose of data collection.
Any personal data we collect from you is done for the following reasons: to make make sure that the Application is working correctly, to compile statistics; to gain insight as to your particular profile.
We may also collect statistical information in order to gain insight as to how the Application is actually being used; how users use the Application (frequency of consultation, origin of users, etc.). Information relating to user profiles is kept by Fastlane Education and will only be used internally.
Fastlane Education does not make any commercial use of the data it receives in connection with the use of the Resources Access Manager.
3.3 Storage of personal data
The data will be kept for the duration of your registration to the Application, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Connection information and, in particular, the pages consulted and IP addresses, are kept by Fastlane Education for the legal period, i.e. one (1) year after they are logged.
The data will be kept for the following periods; you may unsubscribe at any time.
Purging challenges
Each challenge has its own expiry date. By default, the challenges created within the framework of the Resources Access Manager have an expiry date of 15 August. For the others, the expiry date is defined when the Establishment account is created.
Purging mentor accounts
If a mentor has no more challenges for 12 consecutive months, his/her challenges will be deleted after an alert email has been sent.
Purging Establishment accounts.
If the Establishment does not have any mentors for 12 consecutive months, its account will be deleted after a warning email has been sent.
Manual deletion
At any time, a mentor can delete a challenge from his/her account.
Technical and automatic backups
Technical backups can be made for shorter periods.
3.4 Recipients of personal data and transfers
This personal data may be transmitted to, or consulted by, third-party companies (subcontractors) that Fastlane Education calls upon to perform certain services, such as the service providers responsible for hosting the Application.
These service providers are bound by contract to ensure the security and confidentiality of personal data collected by Fastlane Education and cannot, under any circumstances, use such data for any purpose other than to render the services entrusted to them by Fastlane Education. Furthermore, these service providers may only act on the instructions of Fastlane Education.
In general, Fastlane Education undertakes not to share your personal data with third parties without your authorisation, except in the event that a law, regulation (etc.) or an administrative or judicial decision requires Fastlane Education to do so.
The data is not transferred outside the European Union.
3.5 Security and confidentiality of data
Fastlane Education makes every effort to preserve the confidentiality and security of the personal data processed and to prevent it from being distorted, damaged, destroyed, disclosed, altered, lost or accessed by unauthorised third parties.
In order to prevent any unauthorised access or dissemination and to preserve the integrity of the personal data collected, Fastlane Education has put in place technical and organisational security measures that comply with the state of the art.
However, Fastlane Education does not control all the risks associated with the use of the network and draws the attention of users to the existence of possible risks inherent in its use and operation.
